This LADIES ONLY Virginia Concealed Carry Course is perfect for women of all backgrounds and levels of firearm experience who are ready to accept the responsibility of concealed carrying a firearm on a daily basis.

Led by female firearms instructor, Grace Boatright, this 3-hour class is an ideal setting for ladies to listen, learn, and feel comfortable asking questions about firearms, handgun safety, self-defense laws, and the unique quirks and perks of being a female CHP holder.

This course satisfies all Virginia CHP class requirements while putting a feminine lens over topics like choosing the right carry gun, child safety concerns, firearm safety within the home, and integrating a firearm into your daily wardrobe.

We will also discuss more serious topics like use of deadly force, responding to an attempted sexual assault, handling aggressive dates/spouses/significant others, and the unfortunate probability of being attacked by someone you know.

Upon completion, students will receive a course completion certificate, qualifying them to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit in the state of Virginia. There is no shooting requirement for this class. 

$65 per student.

Dual Washington, DC & Maryland Concealed Carry Course

FFT’s dual Washington D.C./Maryland concealed carry permit class meets the training requirements for both the District of Columbia and the state of Maryland. 

Washington, D.C and Maryland give residents and non-residents the right to apply for a concealed carry permit, on the condition that she/he has met all legal criteria and completed the training requirements with a certified instructor.

FFT’s class provides the legally required 16-hour curriculums for both the District and the state of Maryland, covering firearm laws, home and child safety laws, legal transportation of firearms, prohibited and restricted areas, and brandishing. 

We will also cover more basic firearm-related topics such as handgun components, pistol actions/functionality, ammunition, firearm malfunctions, cleaning, storing, etc.

Following the classroom portion, students must then shoot a course of fire with at least 50 rounds from a distance of not more than 15 yards.

This LADIES ONLY basic pistol course is a great opportunity for ladies to obtain the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and operating a firearm safely. It’s an ideal setting for ladies to learn and feel comfortable asking questions about firearms and handgun safety.

Topics include: proper operation of revolvers & semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge, dealing with malfunctions, fundamentals of marksmanship and range safety, firearm cleaning, maintenance, & storage, Pennsylvania self-defense & concealed carry laws, situational awareness and avoiding confrontations.

$125 per student. Includes class, range fees, and a firearm rental. Students will receive an NRA Basic Pistol Course completion certificate.
